This year has been the most challenging in the JFCS Squirrel Hill Food Pantry's more than 25-year history. We distributed 437,545 pounds of food and essential items to 1,699 households, a 55% increase over the previous year.

Hunger does not have a single face. Today, even small financial setbacks can force people from all walks of life to make difficult choices. We serve older adults and children, families and individuals, all seeking support during challenging times.
